What insurance companies do you accept?

We accept BlueCross BlueShield PPO. Due to the unique nature of each policy, we encourage you to call your insurance provider to discuss your specific coverage prior to requesting an appointment.

What are your office hours?

Monday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

How long has Chad Clements been counseling?

Chad has been counseling for over 20 years.

If I have BlueCross BlueShield insurance how much am I charged?

Co-pays are based on the insurance policy you have chosen. This can usually be found on your BCBS ID card or by calling the 800 number listed on your card.

If I have insurance other than BlueCross BlueShield PPO what can I do?

Upon request, we will provide you with a SuperBill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. This does not guarantee payment by your insurance company. Please call the 800 number listed on your insurance card for more information on your insurance policy.

What will I be charged if I cancel within 24 hours of my session?

The cancellation fee is $165 for a missed session or late cancellation - regardless of insurance coverage.

If you are booked for the week - can I get put on a Wait List?

Absolutely! Just let us know you are interested in being put on the Waiting List when you call and/or email us.

Is there a code to enter the building?

No. However, if you arrive anytime after 7 pm at night, the doors will lock automatically. We will let you in personally at your session time if you have an 8 pm session.

Why am I being charged $165 for a cancellation fee if I have BlueCross BlueShield?

Clements Counseling, PLLC can not file a claim with BlueCross BlueShield if you are not present.

What if I forget to show up for my session?

This is a missed session, but is considered a late cancellation and you will be charged $165.00.

How do I pay for the session?

We accept all forms of payment (credit card, H.S.A. card, personal checks or cash). However, within our Intake Forms, a credit card number will be required.

This card will be used to 1) secure your appointment and 2) pay for your session. Your credit card will ONLY be charged once the session has occurred.

If you wish to pay with a check or cash - you will need to present that to the counselor at the time of the session.

What if I want to change my credit card on file?

Please call our office (214-208-4807) to make arrangements to change your credit card information.

Do you offer marriage counseling?

Yes! Chad does pre-marital and marital counseling, but you need to contact your insurance provider using the 800 number listed on the back of your insurance card to request information about your specific policy and coverage.

Is marriage counseling covered under BlueCross BlueShield PPO insurance?

Coverage is contingent upon the policy you have selected with BCBS. You will need to contact BCBS directly to verify if this service is covered for you.

If I have BlueCross BlueShield PPO insurance - why am I being charged $165?

Not all therapeutic servies are reimbursable. It is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your policy coverage.

What kind of counseling services do you offer?

Is there an age limit?

We offer counseling starting at the age of 18.

Do you offer counseling for children?

We offer counseling starting at the age of 18.

Do you offer drug or alcohol addiction counseling?


Do you offer counseling for depression?


Do you offer counseling for anger management?

Yes. However, Chad does not provide counseling for anger mangement classes mandated by the court system nor state-approved anger management courses.

Do you offer counseling for child custody cases?

No. Chad does not provide forensic reports for the courts.

I want counseling - what do I do next?

You can call, email or click on "NEW USER" within our website to sign into our Client Portal. We will ask for your email address and phone number.

We will require that you fill out our Intake Forms before your first session, which are all completed online.

Do you provide reports for attornies or judges?

Yes, but only status and progress reports; not forensic reports.

Does the counselor do any psychological testing?


Can the counselor prescribe medication?

No. Chad is not a psychiatrist, but a licensed professional counselor.
