In accordance with local guidelines for the COVID-19 public health crisis, Clements Counseling, PLLC will resume in-person services on July 6, 2020. Clements Counseling, PLLC will use Monday and Tuesday for in-person sessions and Wednesday and Thursday for Telehealth. If the pandemic or other concerns resurface, we may return to telehealth-only services out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety. This could change based on demand or by COVID-19 protocols. Please review your schedule in the counseling software or call 214-208-4807 for assistance.
If at any time you decide you would prefer telehealth services, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please keep in mind that reimbursement for telehealth services is subject to change depending on applicable laws and insurance regulations. By resuming in-person services, you assume sole risk of exposure to the coronavirus and any other public health risks.
Our practice will continue to follow best practices to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus. If anyone in our office tests positive for the virus, we will notify you.
Please understand that we may be required to notify local health authorities if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19. If so, we will only provide information that’s only absolutely necessary for their purposes. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will communicate with you if circumstances change due to new local, state, or federal orders and guidelines.
IN-PERSON SESSIONS: As of July 6, sessions conducted on Monday and Tuesday will be facilitated at our Rockwall location. Please adhere to the following precautions to help keep everyone safe:
Wear a mask while on the premises.
Notify me if you’re deemed an essential worker.
Avoid touching your face or eyes with your hands.
Minimize your exposure between appointments.
Keep a 6-ft distance from others and do not engage in physical contact.
Wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer before entering the office.
At your appointment start time please wait in the lobby area and I will come and greet you.
Do not attend your in-person appointment if you’re experiencing symptoms of any illness.
TELE MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS: As of July 6, sessions conducted on Wednesday and Thursday will not be physically facilitated at the Rockwall office, but will instead be held via Telehealth. Our software is HIPAA compliant and can be accessed via mobile phone, tablet, desktop or laptop.

How to Join Your Telehealth Session
How do I join our session via my phone/tablet?
It’s as easy as clicking the unique link shared by your provider via text message at the time of your appointment. There is no app to download. Just click the link, enable the audio/video, enter your name, and select 'Join'.
How do I join our session via my desktop/laptop?
– At the time of your session, log into the Client Portal by clicking this link: TheraNest or by logging into the Client Portal, which is the same place you use to request appointments and/or filled out your Intake Forms.
– Go to ‘Appointments’
– At your appointment time, select ’Start Session’ (blue button)
– Grant access to your microphone + camera
– Enter in your preferred first name
– Select 'Join' (blue button)
Once the host (counselor) starts the session, then you will be able to join.
What equipment do I need to join a session?
You will need the following to join a Telehealth (online therapy) session with your provider:
A computer, tablet, or phone (no applications or software download needed).
An external or integrated webcam.
An external or integrated microphone.
Shut down all background applications to ensure Telehealth receives the majority of your internet’s bandwidth, especially applications that use your camera.

Does BCBS cover Telehealth?
If you have benefits from BlueCross BlueShield for counseling, you will have benefit coverage for Telehealth.
Will our sessions be recorded?
No. TheraNest does not record or store the audio or video from Telehealth sessions.
Is Telehealth in TheraNest HIPAA compliant?
Yes. We take your data security seriously and encrypt all your information by HIPAA standards and are HIPAA compliant. Your data is continually and securely backed up. We use Amazon for Hardware and physical security because they are HIPAA compliant and have to follow many rules and that helps us with compliance.
